The Yummy Fur were an indie band from Glasgow, formed in 1992, and disbanded 1999. The band was centered around lead singer and guitarist John McKeown, with a regularly changing lineup of other musicians. McKeown has since gone on to form the band 1990s. In The Yummy Fur also played Alex Kapranos and Paul Thomson from Franz Ferdinand.
